YahCharts Data Directory
The default location of the YahCharts Data Directory is placed in your HOME directory (i.e. C:\Users\username\YahCharts - where username is the current Windows user running the YahCharts application).
The data directory used by YahCharts can be changed by placing a YahCharts.ini file in the program installation folder containing the following information:
[YahCharts] DataPath=D:\Path\To\Directory
Change the D:\Path\To\Directory to your preferred location. Note that this folder will require write access for all users using YahCharts if you have UAC enabled. If changing the default data directory, we recommend that you either create a new partition (i.e. a D:\ drive) or use a separate HDD/SSD.
YahCharts Symbol Guide
The symbols used by YahCharts mimic the symbols used at finance.yahoo.com (including global sites such as uk.finance.yahoo.com/au.finance.yahoo.com etc.). Yahoo provides market data for many global markets/exchanges, including Australia, London, Futures/Commodities, Currencies, Crypto Currencies and Global Indices.
